“Super Connected invites us to really engage with what is perhaps, one of the most important issues of our time. A poignant reflection on our current relationship to our phones and virtual reality. We really need to spend time meaningfully connecting with each other, in person.”

SUPER CONNECTED LIVE
“This production is a warning to humanity about today’s digital age and chillingly the one that inexorably will follow. Any piece of art should have the audience leave with more than they entered the room with. Super Connected definitely succeeds : it is a hugely significant piece of work, containing a vital message, carefully constructed and brilliantly performed. Outstanding” – UK Fringe Review

Produced by Nim Arnold for The Tim Arnold Company
An innovative fusion of film, live music, and theatre about the existential ticking time bomb of social media. Full of wit, wisdom, passion, and terror, the show chronicles one family’s encounter with addictions to technology, based on the true story of a teenage girl suffering with screen dependency.
When the film rolls, only a few feet away from the audience, Tim Arnold performs the film’s soundtrack live. With the scale of Radiohead and panache of Bowie, Arnold acts both on stage and on screen.
Pulled in and out of the screen by the characters as they vie for attention, Tim grapples with the meaning of connection and intimacy. Super Connected is a night out at the theatre, a rock gig and a movie all rolled into one.
Before the show, audience are invited to place their phones into a lockable pouch to experience the freedom (or discomfort) of being free from the digital tug of constant connectivity. After the show there is time to connect with Tim, the cast and each other in our Screenless Social. Suitable for ages 15+
This is worth your attention
